Loureiro can test several technologies simultaneously to determine which remedial option will best meet our client’s goals.

Comparative treatabilitiy studies identify the strengths and weaknesses of each technology under site conditions to increase the reliability of the decision-making processes. These studies include strategies to alter the aquifer geochemistry to minimize contaminant risk (e.g., changing the pH to minimize metals mobilization) and the evaluation of one or more commercially-available products (e.g., amendments that aid in metals precipitation).

Loureiro also conducts independent, third-party product testing for manufacturer's of remediation products.
